May is another busy month for Women on Mission!

Our regular meeting date is Monday, May 14th @ 6:30.  We have changed our meeting time to better accommodate those who don’t
get home until later.  We would love to have you join us!

Women on Mission are hosting a Spring Tea on Saturday, May 19th, at noon.  Depending on the number who sign up, we may have
our party at the home of Martha Costello and Nancy Conner.  Otherwise, we will have it at the church fellowship hall.  Women on
Mission will provide all the food for a light lunch.  We will have a guest speaker from the local Springhaven Domestic Abuse Center.
Signup sheets are located at both the front and back entrances.  The deadline for signing up is May 9th.  Please come be our guest!

This year’s Women of Worth Lifestyle Conference hosted by the Kentucky Baptist Convention Women’s Ministry will be on Monday,
May 21st @ Shelbyville Baptist Church.  This evening will be full of exciting speakers, vocalists, and presenters.  We are subsidizing
part of the expense through our Women on Mission budget, so the cost will be $10 if you pay by May 9th and $15 if you pay at the door.
It takes a little over an hour to drive there.  A group will be leaving from our church that afternoon to be there and registered by the 6:30
general session time.  Information packets and a signup sheet are at the back door.  Deadline for signing up is May 9th.

Our mission project for the months of May and June is collecting needed items for the Springhaven Domestic Abuse Center.  We will
begin collecting items (lists will be provided in coming weeks) on Mother’s Day (May 13th) and end on Father’s Day (June 17th).
Thank you for your contributions to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.  We exceeded our $1700 goal!  All this money will go directly
to support missions in the United States and Canada.
