Where was everyone on Men’s Breakfast Sunday!? We had 16 in attendance and had to eat twice as much to
make up for the low turn-out! Everyone please be sure to join us next month, and bring your appetite! I would also
like to say thank you to all those that attended our Bible Conference - if you missed it, you really missed it! We
had four great speakers and everyone that attended received a blessing.
Last month was a busy month for out outreach program. We began work on a neighbors house and are about
85% complete with it, and we helped a local family in distress with their water and light bill; the woman had
recently lost her husband and was going through a hard time and we were able to help her in her time of need.
I am so happy and proud of Nancy Conner and Martha Costello for joining our family of believers. Nancy was
baptized last Sunday morning, and her sister Martha joined by letter from another church. Everyone please make
these two ladies feel welcome in our house of worship. We also had Mike and Chris Birkhead join our church, as
Mike has been chosen for the position of Youth Minister. They have one son, Josiah, and a baby girl on the way -
please be sure to show them love and support as they lead our youth department.
I am still waiting for our Sunday School attendance to reach 100! And remember, if we reach 125, Bro. Rodney
and Phyllis Duncan are going to sing for us!
Continue to pray for our church and our economy. This is a strenuous time for some families and it is our
responsibility to reach out to those in need, and witness to those un-churched.
